MISSIE
Missie is a yogi, outdoor enthusiast, mountain biker, hiker, lover of all beings, teacher, and someone who spends a lot of time hanging out with trees. She found her yoga practice 20 years ago when she sought out yoga for physical benefits and quickly realized that regular yoga practice had much deeper and more beneficial impacts on her life. After 10 years of practice she decided to pursue teaching yoga to help cultivate opportunities for others to grow in life and yoga practice. A majority of her winter time is spent with high school students in her science and yoga classroom. Missie created R’oming Yoga so that she could extend her teaching to others in the community during the summer. She is passionate about creating safe spaces that allow others to start and grow in their yoga practice.
